3 steps to a successful work life balance

Updated: Sep 22, 2023

Have you ever achieved something you've wanted and worked for, only to be left unsatisfied at some point? Yet, you were so sure that this time it'll be 'the one' to make you feel like a success finally? If you know what I'm talking about, then listen up...

Confident Life

In most cases, we set out to achieve stuff based on what we need to have reached at any given point. Our desires get caught up with outside influences such as social, cultural and religious ideals and expectations until life begins to feel like a massive ball of frustration, struggle and the suffocating mundane tasks of the everyday. So how about I tell you how to change all of that and only go after true soulful desires?

How to find out what you want, what you want

First and foremost, re-connect with yourself. The best way to do this is to start my day with a little ritual which involves incense or any aromatherapy oil, a gratitude list, a setting of intentions for my day and a mini meditation to bring into focus inspiration and creativity. You don't have to do all that; do what works for you, but be sure to be still and listen to yourself.

Secondly, I know you've probably heard this many times, but if it weren't necessary, I wouldn't mention it; write or record what comes up for you. Ideas, feelings, thoughts, nothing is too small or insignificant. The more you listen to yourself, the more you'll uncover, and it doesn't always make sense, which is why it's super important to find a way of recording it that works for you.

Finally, but by no means. Lastly, once you've been following the first and second steps for a minimum of 3 days, but ideally seven or more, you'll have gathered many insights into what's happening for you on a deeper, more soulful level. Start looking for patterns and similarities to uncover your wants and desires; they'll pop up at you everywhere.

Only when you look hard and deep enough will you find that fire to fuel and propel you in the direction of your flow so you're not so tired trying to swim against the tide all the time? Check out my offerings here and here for maximum er results.
